Six ways the household stays in sync
Invite by email
Send an invite link to anyone you want to add to the group.
Real-time sync
Every change is instantly visible to everyone in the group.
Shared receipt history
All receipts from all members appear in one unified history.
Shared budget view
Every member sees the same budget progress and spending totals.
Shared grocery lists
Everyone edits the same list so nothing gets missed or double-bought.
One subscription, whole household
A single plan covers everyone in the group. The person who starts the subscription becomes the admin, and every other member joins for free with full access.
How it works
Create a group & invite members
Set up your household group and send invites by email.
Anyone scans any receipt
Whoever finishes shopping first uploads the receipt. It lands in the shared history.
All data merges into one shared view
Receipts, budgets, and lists combine into a single household dashboard.
Who is this for?
Couples & partners
Stay aligned on grocery spending without awkward conversations.
Families with multiple shoppers
Everyone contributes to the same budget and shopping list.
Roommates splitting costs
Track shared grocery spending and keep things fair.
One dashboard. All your household's receipts.
Every receipt scanned by anyone in the group lands in a single shared history. Every list edit is visible to everyone at once. Every budget update reflects what the whole household has actually spent. You stop asking "did you already buy milk?" because you can see for yourself whether it is on the list, on a receipt, or still missing.
One subscription. The whole household uses it.
Groceries Tracker is priced per household, not per person. One plan covers everyone in the group, and every other member joins free with full access to receipts, lists, and budgets. No per-seat fees, no tiered permissions, no viewer-vs-editor gymnastics. The admin is whoever started the subscription, and the only thing reserved for them is removing a member from the group. That is the entire role system.
Built for the real shape of a household.
Your partner stops at the store on the way home from work. You do the big haul on Saturday. Your teenager grabs snacks between classes. Groceries Tracker assumes all of this is normal and puts every trip in one place, so the grocery side of your household finally stops being three people tracking three different versions of the same week.
Common questions
Does every member need to pay?
No. One subscription covers the whole group. The person who starts the subscription becomes the admin, and every other member joins for free with full access to receipts, lists, and budgets.
How many people can join a group?
There is no strict limit. Most households have 2-5 members, but you can add as many as you need.
Can I be in multiple groups?
Currently, each account belongs to one group at a time. This keeps budgets and data clean and focused.
Do members see each other's budgets?
Yes. All group members share the same budget view and can see overall spending progress.
Who can add or remove members?
Everyone in the group can add receipts, edit the shared grocery list, and update the budget. The only admin-only action is removing a member from the group, and the admin is whoever started the subscription.
Is data synced in real time?
Yes. All changes, including new receipts, list updates, and budget changes, sync instantly across all group members.
